PariBet Founder Michael Weiss has diligently served the racing industry over the past four decades. After working in many capacities at various racing venues, he saw his visions fulfilled by taking a small thoroughbred track (Beulah Park) adding ADW (AmericaTab) and making it one of the most successful programs in the country. He became nationally recognized as one of the industry’s most innovative marketing and promotions coordinators.
PariBet is a pari-mutuel ADW (advanced deposit wagering) service, providing legal and secure online account wagering for Horse and Greyhound racing with partner tracks from across the world. Paribet LLC is licensed in the State of North Dakota, USA and is regulated by the North Dakota Racing Commission. All wagers placed though paribet.com are commingled with contracted and partnered host tracks pari-mutuel pools.
Include working with the North Dakota Racing Commission as manager of the North Dakota Horse Park. In 2012, live racing returned to Fargo after a long absence. Mike Weiss and PariBet have been instrumental in the reopening of the very successful live race meet. PariBet also is working with the Rillito Park Foundation to save the historic Rillito Racetrack. Mike Weiss is the creator of the PRISE program. This program enables ALL students who want jobs to experience working at an actual live racing meeting. Mike has also been instrumental in helping graduating students find full time employment within the industry as well as internships for undergrads.
The 2020 Winter Meet will have 7 weekends of live racing, February 8 through March 22, 2020. This year includes 14 live race days! Gates open at 10 a.m. on race days. Dates are subject to approval by Arizona Board of Racing and may change.
Thirty abused horses were relocated after they were rescued by volunteers with the Rillito Race Track. The Pima County Sheriff's Department identified them as abused, neglected and in bad shape at a property in Oro Valley. KGUN 9 News
Rillito Race Track implemented an Equine Wellness Program during the 2019 Winter Meet. The program was a resounding success as there were no horse breakdowns during 96 races at the meet this year.
Horse racing proceedings at Rillito Park Racetrack Feb. 10-11 had a distinctly Wildcat-like feel to them, with University of Arizona students at the helm of nearly every facet of race-day operations. That’s all by design, according to the tracks General Manager and UA alum Michael Weiss.
A former race horse captured everyone’s attention Thursday afternoon as students from the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program took over the UA Mall in support of Rillito Park’s 75th Annual horse racing season starting Saturday, Feb. 10.
They are two desert racetracks separated by some 8,378 miles and hundreds of millions of dollars. But the tracks share two things: a passion for fast horses and the thoroughbred trainer Bob Baffert.
